Carver Middle School Reviews

I ABSOULETY LOVE ATTENDING Carver Middle School! It is a GREAT, AWESOME middle school!I LOVE IT!

My Son just started at Carver this year and it has been an excellent experience for him. The teachers are easy to contact and ask questions. They are involved in communicating with the Parents of Students and I get weekly updates about what my son's class is doing and needs to be doing for the week and coming weeks.

GO CMS COUGARS!!! this school is very supportive and caring the teachers are informative and the teams rock.

I go to carver middle school. I think that dr. O needs to start being a principal and quit trying to do everything to perfection. He also, need to not give really long lectures.

Carver is a great school! Teachers and students work together to create a safe and fun learning environment. At Carver the counselors genuinely care about the kids. Teachers are involved in every step of the educational experience, from creating real-world lessons, and preparing them for testing to listening to their ideas and facilitating a true learning environment. I have two small children, and I plan on sending them to Carver.

this school doesnt have a bullying problem unlike any other school. Great school and great social environment

I have one son starting the 8th grade and one the 6th. I have never been involved in any other school where the teachers care about every student who enters their class. There is a sense of pride that every teacher instills in every student. If they see a problem they act on it now not later. They are very proactive. Everyone there is very passionate about the kids and each and everyone is special. From the custodians to the principal, they all care about our children. The only thing I wish we had more of is parent involvement.

Carver works very hard to reach kids who are struggling. Staff has high expectations for all students. Several after school programs to reach out to kids acedemically and personally.

I know children of this age can be challenging. I think Carver is doing a good job overall, but I think there would be great value for all students if the administrators looked into addressing the bullying problem at Carver. I think sometimes it is easy to say, 'kids will be kids', or 'they need to learn to be tough', but this attitude is outdated and dangerous. All children have the right to attend school without being insulted, shoved, teased, etc. True, some of this may not be observed by the staff, but I firmly believe that much of it is and is just ignored. There are many good programs out there to help the victims of bullying as well as the perpetrators.

When my son went to school there the principal was very poor quality. The teaching staff was hurting for certain especially in the science dept. It was a rough school seasoning the kids to be rough in high school.

Great staff. Hardworking and caring about the kids!
