They have too much stress as it is. I also think that some of the policys are a bit ridiculous. Not on everything but on a few of them that ive heard while discussing them with my daughter. I understand that education is very important and very serious. I just think that putting all of the homework on them when they already have Jobs, sports, after school activities, starting to drive. Im just concerned not only for my daughter but for the rest of the students. I also attended Strafford Junior and Senior High School. I saw the very best teachers leave, with the school board not willing to do what it took to keep them, while others were kept on staff. I know these teachers must be long gone, but the school boards inability to keep challenging and good teachers on staff says a lot about the quality of education.
